I qualified as an Equinology Bodyworker (EEBW Level 1) in 2018, and started my business Casey Finlay Equine. In 2020 I completed and passed the EQ103 course and I am now working towards completing the EEBW Level 2. I have been extremely fortunate to work alongside the Founder of Equinology, Debranne Pattillo, as a Teaching Assistant on a number of Equinology courses. I am looking forward to resuming this duty as soon as Covid allows travel between countries!
I offer performance maintenance and well-being massage and bodywork sessions. These use different bodywork techniques including – sports massage, soft tissue mobilisation, activations, range of motion and positioning exercises, as well as “focal” point work. I provide optimal support for horses working in every discipline.
Horses have always been a passion of mine, I was lucky to grow up on a Hunt farm where horses were a part of my family’s life. I have been involved in hunting, eventing, show jumping and Pony Club.
I am excited to offer my services to the equine Community. I live in Taupo and I offer services locally, along with South Waikato, and Hawkes Bay. Please feel free to contact me to make a booking and to ask any questions.

I qualified with Equinology in 2019 after partnering my passion for horses, riders and manual therapy. As an advanced level dressage rider, with a background in eventing and show jumping, and all round coach myself, my aim is to have our horses of all different shapes, levels and disciplines to be feeling and working their best. Also as a budding human osteopath student heading into my final postgraduate year of study, I have an in-depth understanding of anatomy and movement, which I incorporate into my EBW sessions.
While studying (March – November 2022) I am also available in Christchurch/Ashburton areas. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Based in West Auckland and covering North and West Auckland and Northland.
Currently I am working towards EEBW Level 2 (as covid allows).
After being obsessed by horses from an early age my interest in animal behaviour and communication grew after working as a dog handler for M.P.I. and starting my current riding horse building my knowledge from books and following a few overseas trainers.
With a thirst for knowledge and understanding, focusing on horses, I started studying with Equinology. It opened my eyes to anatomy, posture, completely changed how I train my horse and has given me a lifetime of learning opportunities.
I look forward to working with you and your horses.

My relationship with Equinology and bodywork began in England in 2002. One course led to many as well as teaching assistant roles. I brought Equinology to South Africa in 2004, establishing EquiWorkSA (Equinology South Africa), Here, I presented the Equinology curriculum and worked with private clients from my rehab yard in the KZN Midlands.
I taught the EQ100: Equinology® Equine Body Worker Certification and EQ400: Equine Stretching courses and brought many specialist lectures, veterinarians and physical therapists to SA for the first time.
We emigrated to New Zealand in 2010 with a 2yo and a baby on the way. I continued to teach for Equinology in NZ and flew to South Africa to teach up until selling the South Africa business in 2016. At this point, we moved to Gisborne.
Today I find my time shared between my daughters, our menagerie of animals, teaching full time, riding and competing my two horses, and fitting in a few special clients and their horses. 2022 will see me train with Debranne Pattillo to teach Equinology’s EQ900 Anatomy Discovery Workshop (Clay and Hands-On) in the future.
I have 20 years of experience in the bodywork field. Get in touch if you are within the Tairawhiti/Gisborne area or perhaps, for groups, we can make a plan.
